Kenneth E. Gabriel opened Comprehensive Accounting Services in July of 1976. After nearly eighteen years in various accounting and management positions in industry, including General Motors, Chrysler Corporation, Demco, and Indian Head, Ken joined the growing Comprehensive network of franchised accounting offices offering accounting, bookkeeping, taxes and business consultation services for small businesses.
His work in industry had taught him the value of accounting in managing a business efficiently and profitably. He knew the difference between ‘doing accounting’ and actually running a business. While many accountants in private practice were good accountants, they lacked the management experience that connected the numbers with the running of the business. His goal was to bring the experience and knowledge he had gained in industry to the small business owner. After all, even though they did not have the budget for a whole accounting department they still needed the same level of advice.
In just a few short years Ken had one of the fastest growing and largest offices in the franchise network. He was, and still is, active in the continued improvement of the services offered our clients through involvement with the franchisor on committees, which review and develop improvements to the network. He has earned numerous awards for his service to the offices in our network.
But no award has been as welcome as the continued relationship we have with our clients. We are all proud of the fact that our clients stay for a long time-a testament of the quality of the service we offer. In fact, we still have the very first client that signed up for our service over 31 years ago!
Our accounting and tax staff reflects the value Ken puts on practical management experience. All of them have backgrounds in industry and management, which gives our whole office a special edge when consulting with our clients on their problems. We are very proud to offer what we feel is the finest monthly accounting service available to small business owners!

We sell imprinted and logoed items to business owners. Whether it is screen-printing or embroidery, we can take your project from start to finish. We specialize in working with small to medium-sized businesses, schools, and churches. We are an authorized dealer of Kaeser and Blair, Inc.
Who is Kaeser and Blair, Inc.?
Kaeser and Blair is a large promotional products distributor that has been in the business since 1894, or 120 years. We are an authorized Dealer of Kaeser and Blair, which allows us to offer our customers high quality merchandise with very competitive pricing.
What do we offer?
We have access to over 700,000 products from thousands of suppliers. We offer an annual Best Buys catalog of competitively priced imprinted items. We also offer a sales flyer called Windjammer, that is produced on a bi-monthly basis. The Windjammer often includes items that are below Best Buys pricing.
We work to accommodate our customers’ needs and budget. For example, if a customer would like something they don’t see in the Best Buys or Windjammer or our on-line catalog, we do the research to find a product that will meet the customer’s project requirements. We also offer complimentary vector conversion for artwork, depending on the complexity of the logo or artwork. We work diligently to get our clients’ products to them on time or before the event. Also, we provide random samples to our customers.

Who We Are
Michindoh Conference Center is a Christian camp and conference center with three main areas of service: a Christ centered and fully programmed youth and adult camp, an Outdoor Education School, and Guest Services to support the camp and retreat needs of church, para-church, school, and other organizations.
Michindoh offers a wide range of programs for the whole family; programs include summer and winter youth and teen camps, youth leadership retreats, marriage enrichment retreats, family retreats, and Road Scholar programs for adult seniors.
If the desire is to run your own program, we have everything you need to develop an exciting and life-changing youth program, sports camp, adult retreat, or formal conference. With a capacity of over 750, Michindoh can serve a variety of group sizes, structures, and needs.
Throughout 250 beautiful acres of rolling hills, wet lands, and a private spring fed lake, Michindoh offers numerous recreational activities to entertain, develop, and challenge guests of all ages. Full buffet-dining services are an exceptional aspect of the Michindoh experience.
After one hundred years representing the MICHigan, INDiana, and OHio conference of the United Brethren in Christ denomination, Michindoh joined Spring Arbor University in 2009! Cities across America are getting major facelifts, and the Urban Enterprise Project (UEP) is at the forefront of these changes.
The UEP is a Christian economic think tank consisting of pastors, entrepreneurs, and investment partners, who promote human flourishing while integrating faith, work, and economic principles.
One way businesses and professionals receive development is through the urban division of the Michigan Christian Chamber of Commerce (MICCC), the division that UEP operates.
